George Wilson is chief executive officer and president of ECS. Under his leadership the company has grown from a small, services-oriented business into a company with more than 2300 employees providing cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT solutions. Revenue has increased, during his tenure, from just over $100M in 2010 to over $600M targeted in 2018.
Mr. Wilson joined ECS in 2011 as chief strategy officer and was promoted to president and chief executive officer in February 2014. Prior to joining ECS, he was instrumental in growing Stanley Inc. from a small, private business with 20 employees and $2 million in revenue to a public company of nearly 6,000 employees and more than $900 million in annual revenue. While at Stanley, Mr. Wilson organized and led executive teams responsible for customer relations, corporate development, business growth, strategic investments and company strategy.
Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. He serves on the ECS board of directors, and is a board member of Professional Services Council, Brain Injury Services, and the Washington Choral Arts. Mr. Wilson received the 2018 Wash100 award, recognizing his impact in the GovCon sector.
Tom Weston joined ECS as senior vice president and chief financial officer in 2015. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and is responsible for the company's finance, tax and accounting activities, its mergers and acquisitions program, and the company's banking and treasury functions. In addition, Mr. Weston has oversight of the company's business operations, financial planning and analysis, and compliance departments. He also serves as the company’s corporate secretary and treasurer.
Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Weston was the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Acentia LLC, where in April 2015 he led the sale of Acentia to MAXIMUS, Inc. He joined Acentia from QinetiQ Group plc, a publicly traded UK-based provider of information technology services where he was chief financial officer for QinetiQ’s North American operations. Mr. Weston was instrumental in driving the rapid growth of QinetiQ North America, which included 6,000 employees and $1.5 billion in annual revenue supporting multiple branches of the Federal Government. Mr. Weston began his career at the large international accounting firm of KPMG LLP, where he was a senior manager in the Assurance Services practice.
Mr. Weston graduated from James Madison University and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Weston also serves on the board of NeoSystems Corporation.
As chief information officer at ECS, Steve Hittle manages the ECS corporate network to include the compliance process for NIST 800-171, a regulation that standardizes the treatment of non-classified, sensitive U.S. government information by government contractors. Following the company’s most recent acquisition, he led the corporate migration of Microsoft Office 365 and the installation of wide-area connectivity for ECS employees.
ECS acquired KSH Solutions in 2015. Mr. Hittle was co-founder of KSH Solutions and president of the Information Solutions division, where he was responsible for the growth and management of the southeastern region, including Army and Navy Medical IT. Mr. Hittle was instrumental in developing the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) business area, supporting Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ) in Falls Church, the Skyline facility, and the St Louis records team. This became one of the fastest growing business areas in KSH.
Mr. Hittle began his career in 1991 as a U.S. Army Ranger. In 1999, he went to work for Northrop Grumman and held management positions as client services manager and program manager for IT operations for the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEOSTRI). In 2004, he went to WareOnEarth Communications, Inc. (WCI), where he managed 7 business locations across the U.S. and Korea supporting over 18,000 customers. Mr. Hittle holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
John Magee is senior vice president of strategic operations at ECS. Mr. Magee has more than 32 years of progressive experience and is responsible for leading the comprehensive corporate process related to business development, request-for-proposal tracking and pipeline, proposals, and forecasting new business. He measures existing contract revenue and profitability, and oversees the recruiting, human resources, and proposal center teams, and special projects.
Previously, Mr. Magee supported the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO), the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (Aegis BMD) program of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations as technical director in the areas of fleet readiness, war games and exercises, ballistic missile defense and concept of operations. He also served the Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants (PEO TSC) as the DDG 51 production contract manager.
Mr. Magee served in the Navy with operational tours aboard the USS Constellation (CV 64), USS Chosin (CG 65), USS Monterey (CG 61) and ashore as the PEO Surface Combatants Operational Readiness officer and chief of staff. Mr. Magee holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California.
Jim Kier has more than 30 years of experience in the defense industry with 20 years leading the strategic planning, business growth, and operations of companies focused on cybersecurity and information technology.
Prior to joining ECS as part of the company’s acquisition of KSH Solutions in 2015, Mr. Kier served as chief executive officer of KSH, providing IT and cyber services to the defense health community. KSH experienced an average growth rate of 40-50% per year over five years.
Mr. Kier also served as president of WareOnEarth Communications, Inc. (WCI). WCI specialized in information assurance and network security for the Department of Defense. Mr. Kier developed and implemented the business strategy that secured more than $500M in prime contracts which facilitated the acquisition of WCI by Secure Mission Solutions in 2009.
Mr. Kier began his career in the Navy in 1984, where his assignments included Undersecretary of the Navy for Special Programs, Naval Security Group, National Reconnaissance Office, Office of Naval Intelligence, and Chief of Naval Operations Intelligence Plot. Mr. Kier holds a Bachelor of Science from Park University and an Master of Science from National Louis University.
Marshall Thames oversees the mission solutions business unit at ECS, leading development and delivery of complex solutions in cloud, cybersecurity, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Thames was president of InfoReliance, where he led all aspects of the company's daily operations including business development, service delivery, headquarters services, and finance and accounting.
Mr. Thames has more than 25 years of progressive leadership and business experience within the information technology industry. He served as senior director of product development for MROLink Corporation, an internet company that developed an online, business-to-business exchange supporting global manufacturers. Mr. Thames was also founder of DaVinci Partners, a technology consulting firm focused on delivering custom software solutions for logistics, manufacturing, operations, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Prior to launching DaVinci Partners, Mr. Thames served in a number of roles at Microdyne Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer of hardware and software communications products supporting a wide range of platforms, from mainframes to servers to PCs. As vice president of product management and engineering, he oversaw global marketing and engineering of the firm's products. He previously served as assistant vice president of operations, supporting manufacturing, logistics, analytics, and the company's M&A activities.
Aaron Faulkner is the lead executive responsible for growth and delivery of cybersecurity solutions to public sector and commercial customers. Under his leadership, ECS delivers computer network defense; governance, risk, and compliance; information and mission assurance; and managed security services to customers including the US Army and the US Department of Homeland Security.
Mr. Faulkner is also responsible for building and managing the ECS Cyber Center of Excellence which fosters collaboration, innovation, research and development, solution engineering, evaluation of emerging tech, and technical and professional proficiency across the company’s talented cyber workforce.
Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Faulkner served as chief strategy officer at InfoReliance. In that role, he was responsible for aligning corporate capabilities and competitive positioning to emerging and strategic market opportunities. Mr. Faulkner also served as vice president for business development at InfoReliance, creating innovative business strategies that resulted in over $500M in new business awards from public sector and commercial customers, including transformational endeavors in the areas of cloud computing and cybersecurity delivered as a managed service.
Mr. Faulkner received a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing communications at Ohio University and completed training in cybersecurity strategy at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.
John Sankovich brings more than 25 years of strategy, technology, consulting, and profit and loss management experience to his role as vice president of cloud solutions at ECS. He has hands-on, executive responsibility for ECS’ cloud business and global partner alliance management across commercial and public sector markets. Additionally, he manages the ECS Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), leveraging the leading cloud service providers including Amazon Web Service, Microsoft, Google, and IBM Cloud platforms.
Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Sankovich was executive vice president of cloud at InfoReliance. There, he was responsible for the startup and executive management of the company’s cloud solutions business. Mr. Sankovich also served as vice president of sales and operations at Truestone, LLC where he was responsible for building and leading a technology solutions and consulting business unit. In addition, he held technology leadership positions supporting the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and worked for AT&T, General Motors, and multiple technology startups.
Mr. Sankovich has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in systems engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
Jackie Fendrock has more than 10 years of experience in the federal IT industry. With a focus on continued business growth, Ms. Fendrock oversees account planning and works to foster relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders.
Prior to being named vice president of business development, Ms. Fendrock was the federal civilian account executive at ECS. She was responsible for supporting several federal civilian accounts, focusing on contracts with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the United States Postal Service (USPS), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO).
Ms. Fendrock also assists in ECS’s acquisition efforts, including the acquisitions of iLuMinA, i_SW, and Paradigm Technologies, Inc. She has worked in a variety of corporate and customer-facing positions. Previously, she held positions at Lockheed Martin and Computer Sciences Corporation.
Ms. Fendrock holds a Bachelor of Science in business management and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
As vice president of marketing and communications, Shab Nassirpour is responsible for the leadership, execution, and management of strategic marketing and branding initiatives at ECS. Ms. Nassirpour oversees design, social media, and content marketing, and works across the organization to develop impactful communications, internally to employees and externally to customers and partners.
Before joining ECS, Ms. Nassirpour was creative director at InfoReliance, leading brand development and user experience design. In that role, she devised branding and marketing plans for new services, software products, and partnerships, supported new business development, and lead in-house projects and initiatives for employee engagement and collaboration. Ms. Nassirpour was pivotal in developing a strong and recognizable corporate identity for the company, helping InfoReliance to make its mark in the defense and federal civilian markets.
Ms. Nassirpour is a past board member of AIGA Baltimore where, as promotion and marketing chair, she founded BLEND, a popular networking event for Baltimore-area creative professionals. She has also served as corporate philanthropy chair for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Ms. Nassirpour has a bachelor’s degree in design and visual communications from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
As vice president of human resources, Lindsey Reisinger leads a team of business partners and administrative staff in the service and delivery of critical human resources support to more than 2300 employees nationwide. Her areas of responsibility include but are not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, compensation, strategic planning, acquisition support, professional development and compliance.
Ms. Reisinger joined ECS in 2012 as human resources manager and was named director of human resources in 2016. In 2017, she was promoted to vice president. She holds an active Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification as well as an SHRM Certified Professional certification (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management.
Ms. Reisinger earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Randolph-Macon College, where she was a member of Delta Zeta, American Chemical Society. She completed continuing education studies in human resources at George Mason University.
As vice president of corporate development, Dave West evaluates merger and acquisition and partnering opportunities, offers strategic planning expertise, helps guide communication with market partners and investors, and assists with integration and joint efforts with ECS’ parent company, ASGN. Mr. West also supports internal process improvement and business development efforts.
Prior to joining ECS, Mr. West led the merger and acquisition (M&A) practice at leading federal sector management consulting firm, Wolf Den Associates. At the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), he was a founding member of the Secretary’s staff and served as an adviser to Secretaries Tom Ridge and Michael Chertoff. He later worked in investment banking and principal investing roles at Morgan Stanley in New York.
Mr. West has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he was a Harper Fellow.
As senior vice president of enterprise solutions at ECS, Rich Hozik leads the delivery of enterprise IT operations for federal civilian agencies such as the United States Postal Service, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Enterprise capabilities include IT modernization, software development, geographic information systems (GIS) and data analytics.
Mr. Hozik has more than 45 years of financial and operations experience. He began his career with the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen, LLP and subsequently served as chief financial officer and/or chief executive officer to a number of both publicly traded and privately held companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He has extensive international experience having lived for two years in Germany and having served for seven years as CFO and CEO of a global biomedical firm with operations throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
Mr. Hozik has led or participated in the raising of more than $3B in private/public equity and debt including two initial public offerings. He has led more than 65 merger, acquisition or sale transactions representing both buy-side and sell-side and led or was involved in post-merger integration for all buy-side transactions. From a consulting and operations perspective, Mr. Hozik has extensive experience with strategic planning, business turnarounds, business process and profit improvement, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, rightsizings and cost containment.
Mr. Hozik has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Maryland and is a certified public accountant. He is active in a number of Washington-area charitable organizations, including Childhelp.
